What we keep when you order pickup online, why, and for how long.
When you order
We ask for your name, your mobile number, what you want and when you will pick it up. We use them to make your order, to call you if we need to check something, and to hand it to the right person at the counter. There is no online payment: you pay at the counter.
How long we keep it
- The kitchen screen shows your order while we make it. Your name and any note are removed from it as soon as the order is marked done, and the order itself is removed from it within 24 hours.
- A record of each order — the items, the total and the pickup time — is kept for 90 days so we can sort out any problem with it. That record does not hold your name, and holds your mobile number only as a one-way code, not the number itself.
- A copy of the order is emailed to the shop.
Which page and which ad
When you arrive from a Google ad, the order record also notes which page you landed on and the ad's reference, so we can tell which ads bring orders. The site uses Google's advertising tag to measure the same thing. None of this includes your name or number.
